Tambobo Bay dinghy landing piers

Use your own dinghy

There are no water taxi services available in the bay. Yachts need to use their own dinghy. In case of an emergency, please contact one of the families living on the north shore of the bay. See bottom of (Visiting by Yacht > Anchoring).

Two landing places are available for dinghies. The piers are built with bamboos and are usable from the highest to the lowest tides.
Do not obstruct the ladders with your dinghy. Other users might want to use them!
Please be careful and don’t drag heavy objects on the floor of these piers. Maintenance of these bamboo structures is costly.

  • At the NE side of the bay a bamboo terrace belonging to Arlene Palallos. It comprises two bamboo piers with a ladder suitable for landing with a dinghy. A bamboo walkway through the mangrove leads to AB Cafe.
  • At the NW side of the bay a bamboo terrace belonging to Emma Palallos. It comprises two ladders suitable for landing with a dinghy.
Another small pier is available west of this terrace. It is used to fill water.
