PPA official: Tambobo Bay dredging necessary for port operations
Dredging at Tambobo Bay in Barangay Bonbonon, Siaton, Negros Oriental is necessary to allow for the operations of an existing port in the area, as the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) said.
Fishermen are back in Tambobo Bay with their Yellow Fin Tuna catches. Several Bangkas have come back to Tambobo Bay to offload their catch of Tuna. After weighing and loading on trucks, they are transported to the destination markets, inland or foreign.
